Passion with some kick!
An entrepreneur since childhood, Jose Raul went from selling cheese to owning several businesses in Tijuana, helping his family prosper in Mexico. When he arrived in Quebec in 2011, he started over by creating a company called JORK – an acronym for his four children – and laid the foundation for what would become Taco Foods.
For Jose Raul, family always comes first and hard work is the key to success, so it’s no wonder that his sons Oscar and Raul followed his lead and embarked on the adventure with him, working tirelessly to make their vision a reality!
Born and raised in Tijuana, Mexico, Oscar and Raul now live in Repentigny, Quebec. Showing an unwavering work ethic, dedication and determination, these young entrepreneurs have been inspired by strong women: first by their grandmother, who made delicious tortillas, then by their mother, who cooked outstanding tamales. Raul and Oscar are now sharing their real family recipes, the ones that bring back memories of times spent together.
