Ever since he was a child, Jose Raul has consistently demonstrated his determination and entrepreneurial spirit. Starting out as a humble cheese vendor in Tijuana, he has built a veritable business empire and improved the lives of his family in Mexico.
After arriving in Quebec in 2011, he started from scratch as a restaurant food supplier, founding JORK, a company he named in honor of his four children. This venture laid the groundwork for what would become Quebec’s leading meat wholesaler: Taco Foods. For Jose Raul, family is the foundation of everything, and it is through hard work that anything becomes possible.
Inspired by their father’s example, his sons, Oscar and Raul, decided to join this venture to offer the best cooked meats on the market. Together, they work tirelessly to make Taco Foods a leading brand in Mexican meat. Originally from Tijuana and now based in Repentigny, they embody the commitment of a new generation of entrepreneurs.
Their inspiration comes from strong women: their grandmother and mother, whose recipes for Mexican pulled meat have become a symbol of family expertise.
