Reheat the fully cooked pork Cochinita by following these steps:

  • Heat water in a pot until it’s very hot but not boiling (around 85 °C / 185 °F).
  • Place the sealed sous-vide bag in the hot water for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Carefully remove the bag from the water. Open the bag and shred the beef.

Assemble the sandwich:
On your favorite bread (baguette, ciabatta, brioche, etc.), generously layer the shredded pork Cochinita. Top with:

  • Chopped fresh cilantro
  • Fresh or pickled red onions
  • A squeeze of lime juice
  • A dash of your favorite hot sauce
